Obtaining Bricks Using Silicon-Based Materials: Experiments, Modeling and Optimization with Artificial Intelligence Tools

In the brick manufacturing industry, there is a growing concern among researchers to find solutions reduce energy consumption. An industrial process for obtaining bricks was approached, with mix modified via introduction of sunflower seed husks and sawdust. The analyzed artificial intelligence tools, goal minimizing exhaust emissions CO CH4. Optimization algorithms inspired by human virus behaviors were applied in this approach, which associated neural network models. A series feed-forward networks have been developed, 6 inputs corresponding working conditions, one or two intermediate layers output (CO CH4, respectively). results ten biologically search grid method compared successfully within single objective optimization procedure. It established that introducing 1.9% 0.8% sawdust mix, minimum quantity CH4 obtained, while 0% 0.5% quantities emissions.
